Pediatric Clinic Toronto To Flash or not to Flash

While (supposedly) all on the internet, especially users of GNU / Linux, complain about how bad he walks Adobe Flash, how annoying it is that slow walk around with Flash and other etceteras, one of the biggest cons that he found the iPad is that does not support Flash.
But just think for a moment on that, if the idea is deprecated to Flash for HTML5, is not exactly what we need? ie one that encourages high scale lack of support for this technology poorly developed (at least for us, users of GNU / Linux)?
Google employees recently managed to port the Quake 2 the browser using only the tools that are available in HTM L5, so if you can run such a game, play some videos should be no more science, or not? And just one of the browsers where does this port of Quake 2 is the Safari (the browser that brought the IPAD) or almost any browser using the latest builds of WebKit (the engine Open Source).

At the same time, not that I like the iPad in the slightest, but from my point of view is an interesting move considering the future of the web, which we all filled the mouth :-)
